How much does it cost to lease a Bentley Bentayga?
Updated 7 min read Performance & Prestige
The Bentley Bentayga V8 S is a car we hold, and its monthly figure is confirmed with your quote against the exact car and your dates rather than listed on the page. The shape around it is fixed: a three-month minimum term, one month up front then one a month, 1,000 miles a month included, and a refundable deposit of £5,000 held separately. Other Bentayga specifications are arranged through partners, and the figure follows the exact car rather than the badge.
What does a Bentley Bentayga lease cost a month?
We quote it rather than publish it. The Bentayga V8 S is a car we hold ourselves, and the figure on it is confirmed in writing against the exact car, your start date, your term and the mileage you actually need — not listed against a badge and then qualified.
What is fixed is the shape it is quoted on: a three-month minimum term on the 1+2 structure the whole site runs on, one month paid up front, then one a month, with 1,000 miles a month included. Everything else in the cost stack is published before there is any form, and the rest of this page is that stack.
Longer than three months is normal and usually the point. Three is the floor, not the expectation.
What is the difference between a Bentayga we hold and one we arrange?
Who answers for it, and how fast. The V8 S sits in our fleet: we own it, we prepare it, we deliver it and we carry the risk on it, so the figure and the terms are ours to set and ours to stand behind, and we can confirm the car without asking anybody else.
The Bentayga EWB is arranged through a vetted partner. Its availability, its figure and its driver criteria come back from whoever holds it, and then we confirm all three with you in writing rather than assuming they match ours. That is a real step rather than a formality, and it is why a tight start date is easier to meet on a car we hold.
The badge on every vehicle card tells you which side of that line a car sits on before you click into it. The fleet is the set we answer for directly.
What moves the monthly figure on a Bentayga?
Five things, and none of them is haggling.
- The exact specification. A V8 S and an EWB are different cars commercially, not trim levels of the same one.
- How long you keep it. Three months is the shortest agreement we write; a longer term is quoted on its own terms.
- The mileage you actually do. 1,000 miles a month is included as standard; a higher allowance is a different quote, not a surcharge discovered later.
- When you want it. A start date at short notice constrains what can be arranged.
- Whether the car is ours or arranged. A car in our fleet is ours to confirm; a partner car waits on the partner, and its terms are confirmed with you in writing rather than assumed to match ours.
What does not move it is how the conversation goes. The figure is quoted against those five things and then it holds, with the whole stack on one document before you commit to any of it.
What do you pay besides the monthly figure?
Three things, all of them stated before any form rather than after it.
A refundable security deposit of £5,000 is held against a payment card in the hirer's own name. It is a hold, not a fee, and it is arranged with a person before delivery rather than taken online.
An insurance excess of £5,000 is your maximum contribution to a repair on a covered claim. It is a different thing from the deposit even though the two figures match on this car — the deposit comes back, the excess is only ever reached if something is damaged. Insurance and excess works through how that operates.
Delivery and collection are quoted with your monthly figure, based on the address and the distance. They are on the quote before you agree to anything.
What happens if you go over 1,000 miles a month?
Excess mileage on the Bentayga V8 S is charged at £2.50 a mile, published on the vehicle page rather than discovered at collection.
Mileage is recorded at handover and again at collection, and read against the allowance on the agreement. That is the whole mechanism: no estimate, no reconstruction from a service record.
If you already know the allowance is wrong for you, say so at the enquiry stage. A higher allowance priced into the agreement at the start is a straightforward conversation; the same miles settled at the end is the expensive way round to arrive at the same place.
How does the Bentayga sit against the other large SUVs we lease?
Not on the monthly figure, because none of them carries a published one. On the figures that are published, which is where the useful comparison was hiding anyway.
The Bentayga holds £5,000 as a refundable deposit and carries a £5,000 insurance excess, which is where the BMW X5 M Competition sits too. Above it, the Lamborghini Urus S holds £7,500 and the Urus Performante £10,000. Below it, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 and the Audi SQ7 hold £3,000 and the BMW X5 xDrive40i M Sport £2,000 — and the G 63, the SQ7 and the X5 all open to a younger driver than the Bentayga does.
The Bentayga is the quietest car on that list and the one that asks least of you on a long drive, which is most of what you are paying for. If what you want is presence at the door of a restaurant, the G 63 does it and does almost nothing else the same way.
Who can lease a Bentayga?
On the V8 S the criteria are a minimum age of 30, five years of full licence held, and up to six penalty points tolerated. Age and licence history are two separate tests and the same driver has to pass both.
Every named driver is checked in advance — the physical licence, a DVLA check code, photo identity and proof of address — and nobody drives the car who has not been named. Driver requirements sets out the whole picture.
These criteria are provisional pending final confirmation, and they are confirmed to you in writing before anything is agreed rather than assumed from this page.
How do you get a Bentayga figure confirmed?
Tell us the car, the start date, the term, the mileage you need and who is driving. What comes back names the exact vehicle and carries the whole stack on one document: the monthly figure, the refundable deposit, the insurance excess, the mileage allowance and its excess rate, and delivery and collection priced against your address.
On the V8 S that comes from us, because the car is ours. On any other Bentayga it comes back once the partner holding it has confirmed the vehicle and its terms.
Nothing is paid online and no card is taken on a website. A person confirms every agreement. Start an enquiry, or read how it works first.
Common questions
Can you lease a Bentayga for less than three months?
No. Three months is the shortest agreement we write on any car, and it is a floor rather than a starting position we negotiate from. If what you need is a vehicle for a fortnight, we are not the right supplier, and it is better that you know that here than after a form.
Is insurance included in the Bentayga figure?
The insurance arrangement is confirmed with you in writing before anything is agreed, and we would rather say that than assert a position on a page. What is certain either way is that you carry an excess — £5,000 on this car — and that an unnamed driver is not covered at all.
Can a company lease the Bentayga rather than an individual?
Yes, and it is the usual route. The agreement is with the company, a director or employee is named as the driver, and the monthly figure is invoiced to the business. The refundable deposit still sits against a card in the named hirer’s own name. See business leasing for how that is set up.
Where can the Bentayga be delivered?
To an address you choose anywhere in mainland Britain, and collected from an address you choose at the end of the term. We hold no depots, branches or counters, so there is nowhere to collect it from — delivery is the only way a car reaches you.
Why is the figure quoted rather than published?
Because it follows the exact car, the term, the mileage and the start date rather than the badge on the bonnet. The V8 S is ours — we prepare it, deliver it and carry the risk on it — so the figure comes from us, in writing, on the same document as the deposit, the excess, the allowance and the delivery cost. Nothing is added afterwards that was not on that document.
