Every rate is a from-price, inc VAT, on cars we own, insure and hire to you directly.

All prices are "from" prices. What you are quoted can move with availability, which supplier the car comes from, its age and exact specification, and how long you take it for. What binds is your written quote.

Images are representative studio renderings of the model, not photographs of the individual vehicle.

In our fleet means ours — our rate, our insurance, availability we can answer directly. We can source means a vetted partner supplies it: the rate is a guide and the car is confirmed with you before anything is agreed.

Delivery in Essex

We deliver supercars, sports cars, grand tourers and prestige SUVs anywhere in Essex — to a home, an office, a hotel or a venue — and collect the car when the hire ends. We have no depot or branch here to visit. Our own fleet starts at £2,500 a month inclusive of VAT, on a twelve-month minimum term.

Two things decide the window here. The first is which part of the county you are in, because the M11 and A12 corridors behave nothing like the lanes out towards the Dengie and the estuary. The second is the drive itself: an in-and-out frontage is straightforward, a shared parking area on a narrow road is not. Where a route uses the Dartford Crossing we settle that side of it beforehand. We agree the window with you first, a person confirms it, and only then is anything committed.

Essex is one of the strongest markets in the country for this kind of car and one of the worst served by the old forecourt model. We deliver into Chigwell, Loughton, Buckhurst Hill and Woodford, out to Brentwood, Ingatestone, Billericay and Chelmsford, and on to Colchester, Dedham and the estuary. Most addresses in the west of the county have gated or in-and-out drives, which makes for a quick, private handover with nothing happening at the kerb. There is nothing to collect and nowhere to travel to — we hold no premises in Essex, and the car is brought to the address you name.

112 cars in the catalogue to lease or to rent, all delivered in Essex. Monthly figures run from £2,500 to £8,000.

Rates are inclusive of VAT and are the same wherever we deliver — there is no local premium for Essex. Rates on partner-sourced cars are guides and are confirmed with you before anything is agreed.

Which parts of Essex do you cover?

All of it. The Epping Forest fringe — Chigwell, Loughton, Buckhurst Hill, Woodford, Theydon Bois — is the corner everybody names, with Brentwood, Ingatestone, Billericay, Chelmsford, Southend, Colchester and Saffron Walden all in the same run. The M11 and the A12 make most of the county a straightforward journey, and the villages between them are no different. Ask about an address that is not on that list and the answer is almost always yes, with delivery and collection quoted against the real postcode. Delivery in one town and collection in another is normal here, because nothing in the county is far from anything else.

Is an Essex address better than a London one for a night in town?

Often, yes. Parking in the county is free and plentiful in a way it simply is not in London, and the Central line side of Essex is close enough that driving in and out on a quiet evening is no hardship. What follows the car in, though, is the charging. The London-wide ULEZ stops at the Greater London boundary, which runs right through this corner of the county, and the Congestion Charge applies again in the centre. We set out which of those we settle and which are billed on before you commit.

Does the Dartford Crossing need dealing with?

Yes, and it is the single most common way a bill arrives weeks later. There are no barriers at Dartford: cameras read the plate and the crossing has to be paid by the deadline the following day, after which it becomes a penalty issued against the vehicle. It is easy to forget in an unfamiliar car. If your route uses the tunnels or the bridge, tell us at the booking stage and we will make sure it is handled rather than left to catch somebody out later. The same goes for any of the other tolled crossings further round the M25.

Is there anything worth driving in Essex?

More than the county is given credit for. The lanes through the Rodings are quiet, open and rolling, with long sightlines and almost no traffic on a weekday morning. North towards Saffron Walden and Thaxted the villages are timber-framed and the roads between them are empty. East, the estuary roads out to Bradwell and the sea wall run flat, straight and wide under an enormous sky. Dedham Vale on the Suffolk border is the prettiest of it and the slowest, which is the trade you make. None of it is dramatic country and all of it is quiet, which for a loud car is the better bargain.

What is the coast side of the county like?

Flat, tidal and worth planning around. The Strood causeway out to Mersea Island floods on high spring tides and is impassable for a while either side of them, so check a tide table before you arrange to be on the island at a particular hour. Southend's seafront road is slow and busy through the summer, and the wind blows sand across the promenade end of it. Frinton and Walton are quieter and better surfaced. None of it is fast driving; all of it is a good afternoon. Give us the dates and we will factor the tides into where the handover actually happens.

How does a summer wedding in Essex actually work?

The county has a heavy calendar of barn and estate venues from May to September, and nearly all of them share the same two problems for a low car: the approach is a farm track, and the guest parking is a mown field. Neither is a place to leave something with fifty millimetres of ground clearance, particularly after rain. Tell us the venue and the running order and we will hand the car over earlier in the day somewhere with a hard surface, so it arrives clean and parks where it can leave again.

What to expect at your address

West Essex addresses usually have gated or in-and-out drives, which is the fastest and most discreet handover we do, and a transporter can generally set down outside without blocking the road. Out towards the coast the picture changes: the lanes are narrower, the verges are soft enough to drop a wheel into after rain, and several field gateways are built to a width that suits a tractor rather than a wide car. There we drive the last stretch and hand over on made ground. Send a photograph of your entrance if you are not sure it will take a long car.

How delivery and collection works

Three steps

From your dates to your door

  1. Tell us what and when

The dates, a delivery postcode, and the car or category you want.

  2. We confirm the car, the price and the delivery slot

Real availability, the full cost, and a delivery window.

  3. We deliver it to your door

Handed over in person, anywhere in mainland Britain.

The refundable deposit, the insurance excess and the mileage allowance are set per vehicle and printed on each car’s page — see driver requirements for what is checked before a hire is confirmed.

Hiring in Essex — common questions

Do you have a depot or a branch in Essex?

No — and that is the model rather than a gap in it. We hold no depot, branch, counter or office in Essex or anywhere else in the UK, so there is nothing to visit and no queue to stand in. The car is driven to the address you give us, handed over in person, and collected from wherever suits you when the hire ends. We deliver to London, Gatwick Airport and Leicester on the same basis.

Which postcode areas do you deliver to around Essex?

We deliver right across Essex. The postcode areas it covers include CM, SS, IG, RM and CO. A postcode just outside them changes nothing: we deliver anywhere in mainland Britain and quote delivery and collection against the actual address. Give us the postcode when you enquire and it is confirmed before you commit to anything.

Does it cost more to lease a car in Essex?

No. We do not price by area, so the monthly figure on each car is the same wherever it is delivered, starting at £2,500 a month inclusive of VAT for a car from our own fleet. What does vary is delivery and collection, which is quoted with your monthly figure against the address and the distance and never added afterwards. The refundable deposit, the insurance excess and the mileage allowance are set per vehicle and shown on that car’s own page.

What is the shortest agreement in Essex?

Twelve months. Every car is quoted on a twelve-month minimum term with two months up front and then one a month, and 12,000 miles a year included as standard. We do not do daily, weekend or weekly hire. If you need more than the standard mileage, tell us at the enquiry stage and it is priced into the quote rather than settled afterwards.

Is anything taken online?

No. No deposit and no payment is taken through this website. Nothing is charged until a person has confirmed the vehicle, the dates and your driver details with you.

Tell us the dates. We’ll confirm the car.

Send us the dates and a delivery postcode — that is all we need to start. Someone here will come back to you with what is genuinely available and the full cost, deposit, excess and mileage included.
