The questions people actually ask

We lease performance and prestige cars — one monthly figure on a twelve-month minimum term, delivered anywhere in mainland Britain. Two months up front, then one a month, with 12,000 miles a year included as standard. Every car states its monthly figure, refundable deposit, insurance excess and mileage allowance on its own page — before you fill in anything, not after.

Do you own the cars, or arrange them?

Both, and every car says which it is. A car badged “in our fleet” is ours: our rate, our insurance, our diary. A car badged “we can source” is arranged through a vetted partner, so its rate is a guide and it is confirmed before anything is agreed.

What does "in our fleet" mean?

It is our car. We own it, we insure it, we maintain it and we deliver it — we are the rental company, not a middleman. The rate shown is our rate and the availability is real.

What does "we can source" mean?

That car is not one of ours. We arrange it through a vetted partner, so the price shown is a guide and the availability is subject to confirmation. We confirm both with you before anything is agreed.

Why show cars you do not own?

Because the alternative is pretending we own them. Our own fleet is finite and the range people want is wider, so we list both and label which is which. You can see the full choice and know exactly what you are getting.

Is a sourced car more expensive?

Not necessarily, but its rate is a guide until the partner confirms it. We come back to you with the confirmed figure before you commit — the price never changes on the day.

How long does it take to confirm a sourced car?

We come back with a confirmed answer rather than a maybe, and we tell you when to expect it at the point you enquire. If a car cannot be sourced for your dates we say so plainly and offer what actually can be.

How does enquiring and booking work?

There is no online booking and no payment taken through this website. A person confirms the car, the dates and the driver with you, and you get the whole cost in writing before anything is agreed.

How do I actually book a car?

You send us the dates, a delivery postcode and either the exact car or the category you want. A person checks it and comes back to you with what is genuinely available and what the whole hire costs, and nothing is confirmed until you have that in writing. There is no instant booking engine and nothing is charged through this website.

What do you need from me to give a real answer?

Four things, and they take a minute: the dates, the delivery postcode, the car or the category, and the age and licence history of whoever will drive. The last one is the one people leave out, and it is the one that decides which cars are actually available to you rather than which ones are free.

Can I see the exact car before I commit?

On a car in our own fleet, yes — it is our vehicle and we can tell you about that specific one. On a partner-sourced car we confirm the vehicle with the supplying partner before anything is agreed, which is exactly why its rate is published as a guide rather than a confirmed figure.

Will I get an “or similar” instead of the car I booked?

No. You are hiring a specific vehicle, not a class of vehicle, and we do not substitute a different car on the morning. If something happens to the car between booking and delivery we tell you as early as we know and offer you what is genuinely available, rather than presenting a swap as a fait accompli at your door.

How far ahead should I book?

As early as you can for a specific car on a fixed date, and earlier still for a summer Saturday. One car can only be in one place, so the constraint is the diary rather than the season. A flexible date is a completely different conversation and often works at short notice.

Can I change or cancel a booking?

Talk to us as early as you can. Where the car is not committed to somebody else, moving a date is usually straightforward. Our cancellation and refund position is set out in full in the rental terms rather than summarised loosely here, because it is the kind of thing that should be read in its own words.

How leasing works, step by step

How does delivery and collection work?

We have no depots and no rental counters, so every hire is delivered to an address you choose and collected from one.

Do you deliver the car to me?

Yes. We have no depots or branches, so every hire is delivered to an address you choose and collected from it afterwards. Home, office, hotel or an address you are travelling to are all fine.

Where in the UK do you deliver?

Anywhere in mainland Britain. Tell us the postcode when you enquire and we confirm delivery and collection for that address before you commit to anything.

Is there a delivery charge?

Delivery and collection are quoted with your rate, based on the address and the distance. The figure is on your quote before you agree to anything — it is never added afterwards.

Can you deliver to an airport?

Yes, where the airport allows a handover. We confirm the exact meeting point with you in advance rather than leaving you to find us at arrivals, and we track the flight so a delay does not cost you the car.

How much notice do you need?

It depends on the car. Vehicles in our own fleet can often be arranged at short notice; a sourced vehicle takes longer because a partner has to confirm it first. We give you a real date and time, not an estimate.

Is the delivery discreet?

Yes. No branding on the driver, no signage at your address and no fuss. If you would rather the handover happened away from your home or office, say so and we will arrange it elsewhere.

Who is allowed to drive one of these cars?

Age, licence history and points are set per vehicle rather than sitewide, because the insurer treats a supercar and a performance SUV differently. Each car states its own criteria on its page.

How old do you have to be to lease a performance car?

It varies by vehicle, because the insurer sets the floor and it rises with performance. The minimum age for each car is stated on its own page, and we check it with you before anything is confirmed.

How long do I need to have held my licence?

A minimum period of full licence held is required and it differs by vehicle. The figure for each car is on its page. A full UK or EU licence held continuously is what counts, not a provisional period.

Can I hire with points on my licence?

Often, yes. What matters is how many points and what they are for, so tell us at enquiry rather than at handover. Some convictions are excluded by the insurer whatever else is true, and we will say so straight away.

Can someone else drive the car?

Only if they are named on the hire in advance and meet the same criteria as you. An unnamed driver is not insured, which means any incident is uninsured — so we cannot add anyone at the roadside.

What do I need to have with you on the day?

Your full driving licence, a DVLA check code so we can see your endorsements, proof of your address, and the payment card in your own name. We tell you the full list when we confirm, so nothing is a surprise at the door.

Driver requirements in full

What is covered, and what is the excess?

Cars from our own fleet are hired on fully comprehensive self-drive-hire cover arranged by us, subject to an excess stated per vehicle.

Is insurance included?

On a vehicle from our own fleet, yes — fully comprehensive self-drive-hire cover is arranged by us and included in the rate. You drive on our policy, subject to the driver criteria for that car and to an excess.

What is the excess?

The excess is the most you would pay towards an insured claim. It is set per vehicle, stated on that car’s page and repeated on your quote, so you see it before you decide rather than after.

Do I need my own insurance?

No, not for a vehicle from our fleet. Do not rely on a driving-other-cars extension on a personal policy either — those almost never cover hire vehicles, and they do not cover cars of this value.

Am I covered on a track?

No. Road policies exclude circuit driving, so a track day is arranged as a separate hire with cover written for it and to the circuit’s own requirements. Tell us it is for a track day at the start and we will quote it properly.

What happens if the car is damaged?

Tell us immediately and do not arrange any repair yourself. On an insured claim your liability is capped at the excess for that vehicle, subject to the policy terms — the exception is damage the policy does not cover at all, such as driving under the influence or an unnamed driver.

Insurance and excess in full

What does it cost beyond the monthly figure?

The full stack — the monthly figure, the initial payment, the refundable deposit, the insurance excess and the mileage allowance — is on the car’s page and on your quote before you are asked for anything.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes. A refundable security deposit is held for the duration of the hire, separately from the rate. The amount is set per vehicle and shown on that car’s page and on your quote before you commit.

Is anything taken online?

No. No deposit and no payment is taken through this website. Nothing is charged until a person has confirmed the vehicle, the dates and your driver details with you.

How is the deposit held, and when do I get it back?

It is held against a card in the hirer’s own name — not a third party’s. It is released once the vehicle is back and checked and any charges are settled; we tell you the release timing in writing when you book.

What can be deducted from the deposit?

Miles over the included allowance, fuel or charge not replaced, damage up to the excess, and any penalty or congestion charge incurred during your hire plus the admin fee for handling it. Nothing else.

What does a lease actually cost in total?

Three things: the rate for the period, delivery and collection, and the refundable deposit held against the car. Mileage over the included allowance is the only common extra, and the per-mile figure is on the vehicle page.

How leasing works, step by step

How long is the agreement?

Twelve months is the shortest we write, and longer terms carry a lower monthly figure. Two months up front, then one a month, with 12,000 miles a year included.

Can I hire a car for a month or more?

Yes. Every agreement is quoted by the month and arranged case by case rather than booked online, because the vehicle, the mileage and the driver checks all need setting up properly first.

What is the shortest agreement you write?

Twelve months. Two months up front, then one a month, with 12,000 miles a year included as standard. We do not do daily, weekend or weekly hire.

Is this a lease or a hire?

A lease. Every agreement runs twelve months or more, quoted per month, with the car coming back to us at the end. It is arranged case by case rather than booked online, and the deposit, the insurance excess and the mileage allowance are all published on the car’s own page before you enquire.

Can my company take the car?

Yes, and business hire to a limited company is the usual route for longer periods. Give us the company name and the driver details at enquiry and we will quote it on that basis.

Can I hire monthly as an individual?

Speak to us first. Hire to an individual that can run beyond three months is treated differently in law from short-term hire, so we handle those personally rather than taking them through the website.

Monthly lease

What is not on this page?

Anything specific to one car. The deposit, the excess, the mileage allowance and the driver criteria are set per vehicle, so they live on that vehicle’s page rather than here — a single sitewide figure would be wrong for most of the catalogue.

Anything that needs more than a paragraph is a guide rather than an answer. The ones people reach for first are what a supercar costs to hire, deposits explained, whether you can hire at 25 and

If your question is not here, ask it. A person answers, and we would rather tell you that a car is not available than take an enquiry we cannot fill.

Want a longer answer?

Tell us the dates. We’ll confirm the car.

Send us the dates and a delivery postcode — that is all we need to start. Someone here will come back to you with what is genuinely available and the full cost, deposit, excess and mileage included.
