What is Audi known for?

August Horch founded Audi in 1909 and the four rings date from the 1932 merger that created Auto Union, but the cars in this catalogue are the work of one division: Audi Sport, which began life as quattro GmbH in 1983 and was renamed in 2016. It builds the RS models at Neckarsulm and remains the most understated of the German performance makes — the cars are quick in conditions that trouble rear-driven rivals, which is a specific and useful virtue in a British winter rather than a marketing line.

An RS Audi goes quickly without announcing it. quattro puts the power down in the rain and in February, the interiors are plainly built and wear well, and the estates and SUVs carry a family and its luggage without comment. What you give up is the last degree of feel a rear-driven rival gives you. Over a year it is the car people choose when they want the performance and not the conversation about it.

Delivery and collection are quoted with the figure, and no deposit is ever taken online.

What do I need to lease a Audi?
