The deposit, the excess and the mileage terms for this car come from our catalogue data, and we are confirming that data with the insurer while the fleet is finalised. Read them as the shape of the terms rather than as a quotation. What binds is your written quote and your hire agreement, and we check the specific car against the specific driver before you plan around it.

The deposit is refundable and held against a card in the hirer's own name at handover — it is not taken online and it is not part of the rate. Deposits, excess and driver criteria

About the Audi RS 7 Sportback performance

It makes 621bhp from a 4.0-litre biturbo V8, reaches 62mph in 3.4 seconds and seats five under a hatchback tailgate. A named car and your dates are confirmed with a partner first.

A 621bhp V8 that reads as an ordinary A7 from thirty feet away, with five seats and a hatchback boot.

At a glance

  • 621bhp 4.0-litre biturbo V8 with 850Nm
  • 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds
  • 30PS more than the standard RS 7, from revised turbochargers
  • quattro all-wheel drive with a sport differential on the rear axle
  • Five seats and a hatchback tailgate

What does the performance version add?

Thirty metric horsepower, taking it from 600PS to 630PS — 621bhp — with 850Nm of torque. It comes from revised turbochargers running higher boost, along with different gear ratios in the eight-speed automatic and less sound insulation so more of the V8 reaches the cabin. Lighter forged wheels are offered as well. On paper the gain is small; from 60mph it is obvious.

How fast is it allowed to go?

That depends on the individual car. Top speed is limited to 155mph as standard, 174mph with the dynamic package and 189mph with the RS dynamic package plus. None of it is usable on a British road, but it changes the gearing and the way the car sits at motorway speed, so we tell you which package the actual car carries before you book.

What does it cost to hire?

A refundable deposit near £3,500 and a matching excess apply.50 a mile after that.

Who tends to hire it?

People covering long distances quickly without wanting the attention. It is a common business booking — five seats, a deep boot and a cabin quiet enough to take calls in — and a common choice for drivers who want a week of supercar pace without a supercar’s ride height, deposit or parking anxiety. It shares its engine with the RS Q8 we can also source, in a lower and calmer car.

These are insurance conditions for this vehicle, not preferences, so we check them when you enquire rather than on the doorstep.

Provisional. The age, licence period, points tolerance, deposit and excess above are being confirmed with the insurer while the fleet is finalised — read them as the shape of the criteria, not as a decision on your hire.

If you are under the minimum age for this car, or short on licence years, say so when you enquire. We will point you at something you can hire rather than let you find out on the day.

Questions about hiring the Audi RS 7 Sportback performance

Can you hire an Audi RS 7 in the UK?

Yes, on a sourced basis. We arrange it through partners rather than supplying it ourselves, and we confirm a named car and your dates before anything is agreed.

Is the RS 7 the same car as the RS 6?

Mechanically, near enough. They share the 4.0-litre V8, the quattro drivetrain and most of the suspension. The RS 6 is an estate and carries more; the RS 7 is a five-door hatchback with a lower roofline, and it is the one people usually ask for by name.

How many seats does the RS 7 have?

Five, under a hatchback tailgate rather than a boot lid. Rear headroom is tighter than in an RS 6 because of the sloping roof, but three adults fit across the back for shorter journeys.

How sourcing a car works

What does "in our fleet" mean?

It is our car. We own it, we insure it, we maintain it and we deliver it — we are the rental company, not a middleman. The rate shown is our rate and the availability is real.

What does "we can source" mean?

That car is not one of ours. We arrange it through a vetted partner, so the price shown is a guide and the availability is subject to confirmation. We confirm both with you before anything is agreed.

Why show cars you do not own?

Because the alternative is pretending we own them. Our own fleet is finite and the range people want is wider, so we list both and label which is which. You can see the full choice and know exactly what you are getting.

Is a sourced car more expensive?

Not necessarily, but its rate is a guide until the partner confirms it. We come back to you with the confirmed figure before you commit — the price never changes on the day.

Tell us the dates. We’ll confirm the car.

Send us the dates and a delivery postcode — that is all we need to start. Someone here will come back to you with what is genuinely available and the full cost, deposit, excess and mileage included.
