These figures are provisional

The deposit, the excess and the mileage terms for this car come from our catalogue data, and we are confirming that data with the insurer while the fleet is finalised. Read them as the shape of the terms rather than as a quotation. What binds is your written quote and your hire agreement, and we check the specific car against the specific driver before you plan around it.

The deposit is refundable and held against a card in the hirer's own name at handover — it is not taken online and it is not part of the rate. Deposits, excess and driver criteria

About the Audi RS 3 Sportback

It makes 394bhp and reaches 62mph in 3.8 seconds. A specific car and your dates are confirmed with a partner first.

The five-cylinder. 394bhp, a noise nothing else makes, and a rear axle that will oversteer on demand.

At a glance

  • 394bhp 2.5 five-cylinder turbo
  • 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds
  • Four-wheel drive, 7-speed dual-clutch
  • 5 seats
  • Driver 25+, 3+ years on a full licence

What makes the RS 3 different from every other fast hatch?

The engine. Five cylinders, 2.5 litres and a firing order that produces a sound no four or six can imitate. It is the last of its kind in production and the reason people ask for this car specifically rather than for something with the same numbers.

Is it quicker than an A 45 S?

To 62mph they are within a tenth of each other, so on paper it is close to a coin toss. On a road the RS 3 feels the more dramatic car because of the noise and the torque split, and the A 45 S feels the more precise one. Most people choose on the engine, and most people who choose on the engine choose this.

Can the back end really step out?

Yes. The torque splitter can send drive to one rear wheel, and in its rear-biased mode the car will hold a slide in a way a four-wheel-drive hatchback has no business doing. It is a track feature and we would ask that it stays one.

Does it work as a normal car?

Completely. Five seats, a usable boot and quattro underneath it. It is a fast hatchback first and a special engine second, which is what makes it easy to hire for a week rather than a day.

These are insurance conditions for this vehicle, not preferences, so we check them when you enquire rather than on the doorstep.

Provisional. The age, licence period, points tolerance, deposit and excess above are being confirmed with the insurer while the fleet is finalised — read them as the shape of the criteria, not as a decision on your hire.

If you are under the minimum age for this car, or short on licence years, say so when you enquire. We will point you at something you can hire rather than let you find out on the day.

Questions about hiring the Audi RS 3 Sportback

Can you hire an Audi RS 3 in the UK?

Yes, on a sourced basis. We arrange it through partners rather than supplying it ourselves, and we confirm a named car against your dates before anything is agreed.

Why is the RS 3 engine unusual?

It is a 2.5-litre five-cylinder, a layout almost nobody else builds. The sound is the reason most people ask for this car by name rather than by numbers.

Is the RS 3 four-wheel drive?

Yes, quattro as standard, with a torque splitter on the rear axle that can send drive to one wheel. It is quick in the wet as well as the dry.

How sourcing a car works

What does "in our fleet" mean?

It is our car. We own it, we insure it, we maintain it and we deliver it — we are the rental company, not a middleman. The rate shown is our rate and the availability is real.

What does "we can source" mean?

That car is not one of ours. We arrange it through a vetted partner, so the price shown is a guide and the availability is subject to confirmation. We confirm both with you before anything is agreed.

Why show cars you do not own?

Because the alternative is pretending we own them. Our own fleet is finite and the range people want is wider, so we list both and label which is which. You can see the full choice and know exactly what you are getting.

Is a sourced car more expensive?

Not necessarily, but its rate is a guide until the partner confirms it. We come back to you with the confirmed figure before you commit — the price never changes on the day.

Tell us the dates. We’ll confirm the car.

Send us the dates and a delivery postcode — that is all we need to start. Someone here will come back to you with what is genuinely available and the full cost, deposit, excess and mileage included.
