What is the Urus SE like day to day?
Straightforward. Air suspension in Strada is soft enough for British roads, visibility is good, and the boot swallows four cases. The hybrid system lets it run on electricity for the first 30-odd miles, which makes school runs and city centres painless. Then it makes a V8 noise that no other SUV can match, which is the entire point.
How does the SE differ from the earlier Urus?
It adds a 189bhp electric motor inside the gearbox, taking combined output to 789bhp from the 657bhp of the original. The rear differential is now electronically controlled, the front bodywork is new, and the interior gains a larger centre screen. It is quicker, quieter around town and noticeably better balanced in fast corners.
