The deposit, the excess and the mileage terms for this car come from our catalogue data, and we are confirming that data with the insurer while the fleet is finalised. Read them as the shape of the terms rather than as a quotation. What binds is your written quote and your hire agreement, and we check the specific car against the specific driver before you plan around it.

The deposit is refundable and held against a card in the hirer's own name at handover — it is not taken online and it is not part of the rate. Deposits, excess and driver criteria

About the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV 350 4MATIC

The 350 4MATIC uses two motors for 288bhp and all-wheel drive, with a battery of roughly 90kWh and 62mph in 6.6 seconds. A specific car and your dates are confirmed with a partner first.

A mid-size electric SUV with all-wheel drive, a very quiet cabin and enough range to make a long motorway day sensible.

At a glance

  • 288bhp from twin motors, with 4MATIC all-wheel drive
  • Battery of roughly 90kWh
  • 0-62mph in 6.6 seconds, limited to 130mph
  • Five seats, a flat floor and generous rear legroom
  • MBUX, with the full-width Hyperscreen available

How does the EQE SUV differ from the EQS SUV?

Size and price. The EQE SUV is shorter, easier to park and a five-seater only, where the EQS SUV can be specified with a third row. The EQE 350 4MATIC has two motors and 288bhp against the EQS 450+ and its single rear motor. Both are very quiet. If you need seven seats or maximum range, take the EQS; otherwise the EQE is the more manageable car.

What range does it have?

Roughly 90kWh of usable battery gives an official figure in the region of 300 miles, and something closer to 230 to 250 miles in normal British conditions. Sustained motorway speed and cold weather cost the most. It charges at up to 170kW on a suitable DC rapid, so a stop of half an hour keeps a long day moving.

What does it cost to hire?

A refundable £2,500 deposit and a matching insurance excess apply, and mileage is 12,000 miles a year with £1.50 a mile after that. Charging is at your cost during the hire.

Is it comfortable for passengers?

Very. The floor is flat because there is no transmission tunnel, so the middle rear seat is usable rather than nominal. The cabin is sealed well enough that road noise dominates, and there is not a great deal of that either. Air suspension is offered on some cars and worth asking about if the trip is a long one.

These are insurance conditions for this vehicle, not preferences, so we check them when you enquire rather than on the doorstep.

Provisional. The age, licence period, points tolerance, deposit and excess above are being confirmed with the insurer while the fleet is finalised — read them as the shape of the criteria, not as a decision on your hire.

If you are under the minimum age for this car, or short on licence years, say so when you enquire. We will point you at something you can hire rather than let you find out on the day.

Questions about hiring the Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV 350 4MATIC

Can you hire a Mercedes EQE SUV in the UK?

Yes, on a sourced basis. We arrange it through vetted partners rather than supplying it from our own fleet, and we confirm a specific car and your dates before anything is agreed.

Does the EQE SUV have four-wheel drive?

The 350 4MATIC does, with one motor on each axle. That is worth having in a British winter, and it is the version we quote here.

How long does it take to charge?

On a 150kW or faster public rapid, roughly half an hour covers the useful part of the battery. On a home wallbox, overnight. The car is handed over charged and we ask for it back with a reasonable charge.

How sourcing a car works

What does "in our fleet" mean?

It is our car. We own it, we insure it, we maintain it and we deliver it — we are the rental company, not a middleman. The rate shown is our rate and the availability is real.

What does "we can source" mean?

That car is not one of ours. We arrange it through a vetted partner, so the price shown is a guide and the availability is subject to confirmation. We confirm both with you before anything is agreed.

Why show cars you do not own?

Because the alternative is pretending we own them. Our own fleet is finite and the range people want is wider, so we list both and label which is which. You can see the full choice and know exactly what you are getting.

Is a sourced car more expensive?

Not necessarily, but its rate is a guide until the partner confirms it. We come back to you with the confirmed figure before you commit — the price never changes on the day.

Tell us the dates. We’ll confirm the car.

Send us the dates and a delivery postcode — that is all we need to start. Someone here will come back to you with what is genuinely available and the full cost, deposit, excess and mileage included.
