These figures are provisional

The deposit, the excess and the mileage terms for this car come from our catalogue data, and we are confirming that data with the insurer while the fleet is finalised. Read them as the shape of the terms rather than as a quotation. What binds is your written quote and your hire agreement, and we check the specific car against the specific driver before you plan around it.

The deposit is refundable and held against a card in the hirer's own name at handover — it is not taken online and it is not part of the rate. Deposits, excess and driver criteria

About the Maserati GranTurismo Modena

It uses Maserati's 3.0-litre Nettuno twin-turbo V6, making 483bhp through all four wheels, and covers 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds. Four seats, a boot, and a shape that draws less attention than a supercar.

The GranTurismo is Maserati's four-seat grand tourer, rebuilt around the Nettuno V6 developed for the MC20.

At a glance

  • 3.0-litre Nettuno twin-turbo V6, 483bhp
  • 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds, 188mph top speed
  • All-wheel drive with an eight-speed automatic
  • Genuine 2+2 seating and a boot for two people's luggage
  • Engine architecture shared with the MC20 supercar

What engine does the GranTurismo Modena use?

The 3.0-litre Nettuno V6, the same architecture Maserati developed for the MC20 supercar, tuned here to 483bhp. It uses a pre-chamber combustion system drawn from Formula 1 practice, which is still rare in a road car. Drive goes to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic, and 62mph arrives in 3.9 seconds.

Is the GranTurismo a proper four-seater?

It is a genuine 2+2 rather than a coupe with a token bench. Adults fit in the back for shorter journeys and children fit comfortably for long ones. The boot takes soft luggage for two. That combination — real pace, four seats, a usable boot — is what a grand tourer is supposed to be, and few cars at this level still manage it.

How does it compare with a German grand tourer?

It is rarer, and it feels it. A GranTurismo attracts comment in a way an equivalent Mercedes or BMW does not, and the Nettuno V6 has a harder edge to its voice than a large turbocharged V8. What you give up is the last degree of interior polish. Most people who hire one have made that trade knowingly.

What does a GranTurismo cost to hire?

A refundable £7,500 deposit and a £7,500 insurance excess apply, with 12,000 miles a year included and £2.75 a mile beyond. Rates are guides on a sourced vehicle; the supplying partner confirms the final figures in writing.

Questions about hiring the Maserati GranTurismo Modena

Can I hire a Maserati GranTurismo in the UK?

We can source one, subject to confirmation. It is not a car we own, so we check availability against your dates and confirm the specific vehicle before the booking is set.

Is the GranTurismo Modena all-wheel drive?

Yes. The Modena drives all four wheels, which makes it noticeably easier to use in poor weather than a rear-drive grand tourer of similar power.

Is there an electric GranTurismo?

Yes, the Folgore, which uses three electric motors in place of the V6. This page covers the petrol Modena. If you specifically want the electric car, say so and we will check whether one can be sourced for your dates.

How sourcing a car works

What does "in our fleet" mean?

It is our car. We own it, we insure it, we maintain it and we deliver it — we are the rental company, not a middleman. The rate shown is our rate and the availability is real.

What does "we can source" mean?

That car is not one of ours. We arrange it through a vetted partner, so the price shown is a guide and the availability is subject to confirmation. We confirm both with you before anything is agreed.

Why show cars you do not own?

Because the alternative is pretending we own them. Our own fleet is finite and the range people want is wider, so we list both and label which is which. You can see the full choice and know exactly what you are getting.

Is a sourced car more expensive?

Not necessarily, but its rate is a guide until the partner confirms it. We come back to you with the confirmed figure before you commit — the price never changes on the day.

Tell us the dates. We’ll confirm the car.

Send us the dates and a delivery postcode — that is all we need to start. Someone here will come back to you with what is genuinely available and the full cost, deposit, excess and mileage included.
