These figures are provisional

The deposit, the excess and the mileage terms for this car come from our catalogue data, and we are confirming that data with the insurer while the fleet is finalised. Read them as the shape of the terms rather than as a quotation. What binds is your written quote and your hire agreement, and we check the specific car against the specific driver before you plan around it.

The deposit is refundable and held against a card in the hirer's own name at handover — it is not taken online and it is not part of the rate. Deposits, excess and driver criteria

About the Aston Martin DB12

Its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 makes 671bhp, reaching 62mph in 3.6 seconds and 202mph flat out. Aston calls it a super tourer rather than a grand tourer, and the 2+2 cabin makes it genuinely usable over a long journey.

671bhp, a properly finished cabin and two small rear seats. The car for a long British drive rather than a short loud one.

At a glance

  • 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, 671bhp, 800Nm
  • 0-62mph in 3.6 seconds, 202mph
  • Eight-speed automatic with an electronic rear differential
  • 2+2 cabin and a boot of around 262 litres
  • 12,000 miles a year included, then 195p per mile

What is the Aston Martin DB12 like to drive?

Firmer and far sharper than the DB11 it replaced. Aston stiffened the structure, fitted an electronic rear differential and retuned the V8 to 671bhp, and the result behaves like a sports car when you push and a grand tourer when you stop. The engine is quiet at idle and louder than you expect past 4,000rpm. It covers 300 motorway miles without wearing anyone out.

How much does it cost to hire an Aston Martin DB12?

Each day includes 125 miles, with extra miles at 195p. A £5,000 refundable deposit is held on a credit card at handover, with a £5,000 insurance excess. Deposit and excess are stated here, before any form, rather than after it.

Is the DB12 a good wedding car?

It is the car we would put forward for a wedding. Four seats, doors that open wide enough to get out in formal clothes without a struggle, a quiet cabin for the drive between venues, and no branding on the car or the transporter. We deliver to the venue or the address at a time you set, and collect afterwards, so nobody is managing logistics on the day.

Should I hire a DB12 or a Bentley Continental GT?

The Aston is the sharper and more involving car, rear-wheel drive and noticeably lighter on its feet. The Bentley is the more comfortable and more insulating one, with four-wheel drive and a bigger back seat. If the drive is the point, take the DB12. If the arrival is the point, take the Continental GT. We hold both, and each carries its own monthly figure on its page.

These are insurance conditions for this vehicle, not preferences, so we check them when you enquire rather than on the doorstep.

Provisional. The age, licence period, points tolerance, deposit and excess above are being confirmed with the insurer while the fleet is finalised — read them as the shape of the criteria, not as a decision on your hire.

If you are under the minimum age for this car, or short on licence years, say so when you enquire. We will point you at something you can hire rather than let you find out on the day.

Questions about hiring the Aston Martin DB12

How many seats does the Aston Martin DB12 have?

Four, in a 2+2 layout. The rear seats are genuinely small and best used for children, coats or bags rather than adults on a long trip. Boot space is around 262 litres, which takes two soft weekend bags comfortably.

Is the DB12 automatic?

Yes, an eight-speed automatic with paddle shifters. There is no manual DB12. Drive goes to the rear wheels through an electronic limited-slip differential, which is one of the biggest changes from the DB11.

How sourcing a car works

What does "in our fleet" mean?

It is our car. We own it, we insure it, we maintain it and we deliver it — we are the rental company, not a middleman. The rate shown is our rate and the availability is real.

What does "we can source" mean?

That car is not one of ours. We arrange it through a vetted partner, so the price shown is a guide and the availability is subject to confirmation. We confirm both with you before anything is agreed.

Why show cars you do not own?

Because the alternative is pretending we own them. Our own fleet is finite and the range people want is wider, so we list both and label which is which. You can see the full choice and know exactly what you are getting.

Is a sourced car more expensive?

Not necessarily, but its rate is a guide until the partner confirms it. We come back to you with the confirmed figure before you commit — the price never changes on the day.

Tell us the dates. We’ll confirm the car.

Send us the dates and a delivery postcode — that is all we need to start. Someone here will come back to you with what is genuinely available and the full cost, deposit, excess and mileage included.
