It is the convertible Continental: a 542bhp 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, all-wheel drive, and a fabric roof that folds in about 19 seconds at up to 30mph. Four seats and a boot that stays usable.
The Continental GTC is the convertible version of Bentley's grand tourer, and one of the most accomplished open-top four-seaters on sale.

What is the difference between the Continental GT and the GTC?
The GTC is the convertible. It swaps the fixed roof for a fabric one that folds electrically in about 19 seconds and will operate at up to 30mph, so you can drop it while moving through traffic. The rest — engine, gearbox, all-wheel drive, cabin — is shared. The convertible carries a little extra weight, which costs it around a tenth to 62mph.
Can you use it with the roof down in Britain?
More often than you would think. The seats have neck warmers, the heating is strong, and a wind deflector behind the rear seats keeps the cabin calm at speed. With those in use, roof-down driving stays comfortable well into autumn. With the roof up the car is properly insulated and quiet enough for a phone call at 70mph.
Is it a sensible wedding or corporate car?
On both counts, yes. Four seats mean the couple and two others, the doors are conventional and the sill is low enough to step over in formal clothes. For corporate use it is quieter and less conspicuous than a supercar while still being obviously expensive, which is usually the right balance when you are collecting a client.
