These figures are provisional

The deposit, the excess and the mileage terms for this car come from our catalogue data, and we are confirming that data with the insurer while the fleet is finalised. Read them as the shape of the terms rather than as a quotation. What binds is your written quote and your hire agreement, and we check the specific car against the specific driver before you plan around it.

The deposit is refundable and held against a card in the hirer's own name at handover — it is not taken online and it is not part of the rate. Deposits, excess and driver criteria

About the Porsche Taycan Turbo S

The facelifted car makes up to 939bhp with launch control engaged and reaches 62mph in 2.4 seconds, on an 800-volt system that charges at up to 320kW. Dates are confirmed with a partner first.

A four-door saloon that reaches 62mph in 2.4 seconds and does it in silence. The fastest-accelerating car we can source.

At a glance

  • Up to 939bhp with launch control engaged
  • 0-62mph in 2.4 seconds, 162mph
  • 800-volt architecture, DC charging at up to 320kW
  • Two-speed gearbox on the rear axle, permanent all-wheel drive
  • Four seats, plus luggage space front and rear

What is a Taycan Turbo S actually like?

The acceleration is the part nobody is ready for. There is no noise, no gearchange and no drama, just the horizon arriving. Away from that it is a low, wide, comfortable saloon with excellent seats and a quiet cabin. The steering is better than a car of this weight has any right to have.

How does the charging work in practice?

The 800-volt system takes up to 320kW on the fastest DC chargers, which puts a 10-80% top-up in the region of 18 minutes when you find one that delivers it. On a 7kW home or hotel charger it fills overnight. Plan around chargers rather than around range and the car is straightforward to live with.

Is it a sensible car for a business trip?

Arguably more so than anything else here. It seats four properly, takes luggage front and rear, and it is close to silent at motorway speed, which makes calls on the move painless. It is also discreet: to most people on the road it reads as a Panamera.

What does it cost to hire a Taycan Turbo S?

A refundable £3,500 deposit is held and the excess is £3,500. The allowance is 12,000 miles a year with £1.50 a mile beyond. The car arrives charged and the return condition is agreed in advance.

Questions about hiring the Porsche Taycan Turbo S

Can you hire a Porsche Taycan Turbo S in the UK?

Yes, on a sourced basis. We arrange it through a vetted partner rather than supplying it from our own fleet, and a specific car and your dates are confirmed before anything is agreed.

How fast is the Taycan Turbo S?

Up to 939bhp with launch control engaged, 0-62mph in 2.4 seconds and a top speed of 162mph. Electric cars are limited by gearing rather than power at the top end, which is why the top speed looks modest next to the acceleration.

Why is it called a Turbo if it is electric?

It is a model name rather than a description of the hardware. There is no turbocharger; Porsche uses Turbo and Turbo S to mark the top two output levels across the range.

How sourcing a car works

What does "in our fleet" mean?

It is our car. We own it, we insure it, we maintain it and we deliver it — we are the rental company, not a middleman. The rate shown is our rate and the availability is real.

What does "we can source" mean?

That car is not one of ours. We arrange it through a vetted partner, so the price shown is a guide and the availability is subject to confirmation. We confirm both with you before anything is agreed.

Why show cars you do not own?

Because the alternative is pretending we own them. Our own fleet is finite and the range people want is wider, so we list both and label which is which. You can see the full choice and know exactly what you are getting.

Is a sourced car more expensive?

Not necessarily, but its rate is a guide until the partner confirms it. We come back to you with the confirmed figure before you commit — the price never changes on the day.

Tell us the dates. We’ll confirm the car.

Send us the dates and a delivery postcode — that is all we need to start. Someone here will come back to you with what is genuinely available and the full cost, deposit, excess and mileage included.
