What this lease costs

Everything below is stated before you enquire, not after. Nothing is taken through this website.

The agreement
Per month 3-month minimum term on request
Initial payment Taken on delivery, never online On request
Mileage Extra miles priced into the quote 1,000 miles a month
Deposit, excess and mileage
Refundable deposit £3,000
Insurance excess £3,000
Extra miles £1.50 a mile
Delivery and collection Quoted with your rate

All prices are "from" prices. What you are quoted can move with availability, which supplier the car comes from, its age and exact specification, and how long you take it for. What binds is your written quote.

These figures are provisional

The deposit, the excess and the mileage terms for this car come from our catalogue data, and we are confirming that data with the insurer while the fleet is finalised. Read them as the shape of the terms rather than as a quotation. What binds is your written quote and your hire agreement, and we check the specific car against the specific driver before you plan around it.

The deposit is refundable and held against a card in the hirer's own name at handover — it is not taken online and it is not part of the rate. Deposits, excess and driver criteria

About the Mercedes-Benz S-Class S 500 4MATIC AMG Line

The S 500 4MATIC pairs a 429bhp turbocharged straight-six with mild-hybrid assistance, air suspension and all-wheel drive. We arrange it through partners rather than owning one, so the car and your start date are confirmed by a person first.

The benchmark luxury saloon: a hushed cabin, air suspension and a straight-six that never sounds like it is working.

At a glance

  • 429bhp 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six with mild-hybrid assistance
  • 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds, limited to 155mph
  • AIRMATIC air suspension and 4MATIC all-wheel drive
  • MBUX infotainment on a portrait central screen
  • Five seats, with rear legroom you can work in

What does an S-Class lease cost?

It is priced on request. A refundable deposit of £3,000 and a matching insurance excess apply, and mileage runs at 1,000 miles a month with £1.50 a mile after that. Because the car is sourced rather than owned by us, the monthly figure and those numbers stay a guide until a partner confirms the specific car.

Is the S 500 quick enough?

It reaches 62mph in 4.9 seconds and runs to a limited 155mph, which is more than the car ever asks you to use. The 3.0-litre straight-six is turbocharged and carries a small mild-hybrid motor that fills the gap below boost, so there is no step in the delivery. The point of the car is not pace. It is that pace arrives without noise or effort.

Why lease an S-Class rather than buy one?

Depreciation on a flagship saloon is heaviest in the first two years, which is the part of ownership a lease leaves behind. The agreement runs at a monthly figure on a three-month minimum and continues month to month after that. We deliver to your address and collect from it, so there is no counter queue and no handover in a car park.

Does it come with a driver?

No. Every lease we arrange is self-drive, so the person named on the agreement does the driving. If being driven is the point, the standard S-Class is still comfortable in the back, but the Maybach S 580 is the car built for it, with an extended wheelbase and reclining rear seats.

These are insurance conditions for this vehicle, not preferences, so we check them when you enquire rather than on the doorstep.

Provisional. The age, licence period, points tolerance, deposit and excess above are being confirmed with the insurer while the fleet is finalised — read them as the shape of the criteria, not as a decision on your lease.

If you are under the minimum age for this car, or short on licence years, say so when you enquire. We will point you at something you can lease rather than let you find out on the day.

Questions about leasing the Mercedes-Benz S-Class S 500 4MATIC AMG Line

Can you lease a Mercedes-Benz S-Class in the UK?

Yes, on a sourced basis. We arrange it through vetted partners rather than supplying it from our own fleet, and we confirm a specific car and your start date before anything is agreed.

Which engine does the S 500 use?

A 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six with mild-hybrid assistance, producing 429bhp through 4MATIC all-wheel drive. It is not a plug-in, so there is nothing to charge.

How old do I need to be to lease an S-Class?

Thirty, with at least three years on a full licence and no more than six points. A refundable £3,000 deposit and a £3,000 insurance excess apply, both stated before you enquire.

How sourcing a car works

What does "in our fleet" mean?

It is our car. We own it, we insure it, we maintain it and we deliver it — we are the leasing company, not a middleman. The monthly figure shown is ours and it is confirmed, and the availability is real.

What does "we can source" mean?

That car is not one of ours. We arrange it through a vetted partner, which is why it carries no published monthly figure and reads "on request": we do not hold a confirmed price for a car nobody has confirmed yet. We come back to you with the figure and the availability together, before anything is agreed.

Why show cars you do not own?

Because the alternative is pretending we own them. Our own fleet is finite and the range people want is wider, so we list both and label which is which. You can see the full choice and know exactly what you are getting.

Is a sourced car more expensive?

We cannot tell you until a partner has quoted it, which is exactly why no figure is published against one. It is not automatically dearer than an equivalent car in our own fleet. You get the figure in writing before you commit to anything, and it does not move afterwards.

Tell us the car and how long. We’ll confirm the figure.

The car you want, roughly how long, and the town you are in — that is all we need to start. Someone here comes back with the monthly figure and the whole cost, initial payment, deposit, excess and mileage included.
