These figures are provisional

The deposit, the excess and the mileage terms for this car come from our catalogue data, and we are confirming that data with the insurer while the fleet is finalised. Read them as the shape of the terms rather than as a quotation. What binds is your written quote and your hire agreement, and we check the specific car against the specific driver before you plan around it.

The deposit is refundable and held against a card in the hirer's own name at handover — it is not taken online and it is not part of the rate. Deposits, excess and driver criteria

About the Maserati Quattroporte Trofeo

It is a full-size Italian saloon with a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 making 572bhp, 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds and a 203mph top speed. Five seats, a large boot, and very few on UK roads.

The Quattroporte Trofeo is the V8 flagship of Maserati's full-size saloon range.

At a glance

  • 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8, 572bhp, rear-wheel drive
  • 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds, 203mph top speed
  • Full-size five-seat saloon with generous rear legroom
  • Eight-speed automatic gearbox
  • Rarer on UK roads than any German equivalent

What is a Quattroporte Trofeo?

The V8 version of Maserati's largest saloon. A 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 produces 572bhp, driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic, and the car reaches 62mph in 4.5 seconds with a 203mph top speed. Below it in the range sat a 3.0-litre V6; the Trofeo is the one worth arranging.

Is it comfortable in the back?

Yes. The Quattroporte is a full-size saloon, so rear legroom is generous and the seats are proper armchairs rather than sculpted buckets. It is quiet at a cruise and the boot swallows several large cases. If you want one car that works for a long driven journey and for an occasion at the end of it, this does both.

Why hire a Quattroporte rather than a German saloon?

Because the German cars are everywhere. A Quattroporte is rare enough that people look twice, and a V8 sounds like nothing else pulling up at a hotel. It also seats five, which none of the sports cars on this site do. For a corporate weekend or a long drive with passengers, that matters more than a tenth to 62mph.

What does a Quattroporte Trofeo cost to hire?

A refundable £7,500 deposit and a £5,000 insurance excess apply, with 12,000 miles a year included and £2 a mile beyond. As a sourced car, the exact vehicle and the final figures are confirmed before you commit.

These are insurance conditions for this vehicle, not preferences, so we check them when you enquire rather than on the doorstep.

Provisional. The age, licence period, points tolerance, deposit and excess above are being confirmed with the insurer while the fleet is finalised — read them as the shape of the criteria, not as a decision on your hire.

If you are under the minimum age for this car, or short on licence years, say so when you enquire. We will point you at something you can hire rather than let you find out on the day.

Questions about hiring the Maserati Quattroporte Trofeo

Can I hire a Maserati Quattroporte in the UK?

We can source one, subject to confirmation. Numbers in the country are small, so we check with our partners against your dates and confirm the exact car before anything is agreed.

Is the Quattroporte Trofeo rear-wheel drive?

Yes. The V8 Trofeo drives the rear wheels only. Some V6 Quattroportes were sold with all-wheel drive, so tell us if winter traction matters and we will look for one of those instead.

How much luggage does a Quattroporte take?

A large boot by any measure — several full-size suitcases, or golf bags. It is a full-size saloon, and luggage is one of the things it does well.

How sourcing a car works

What does "in our fleet" mean?

It is our car. We own it, we insure it, we maintain it and we deliver it — we are the rental company, not a middleman. The rate shown is our rate and the availability is real.

What does "we can source" mean?

That car is not one of ours. We arrange it through a vetted partner, so the price shown is a guide and the availability is subject to confirmation. We confirm both with you before anything is agreed.

Why show cars you do not own?

Because the alternative is pretending we own them. Our own fleet is finite and the range people want is wider, so we list both and label which is which. You can see the full choice and know exactly what you are getting.

Is a sourced car more expensive?

Not necessarily, but its rate is a guide until the partner confirms it. We come back to you with the confirmed figure before you commit — the price never changes on the day.

Tell us the dates. We’ll confirm the car.

Send us the dates and a delivery postcode — that is all we need to start. Someone here will come back to you with what is genuinely available and the full cost, deposit, excess and mileage included.
