# Cars to lease, by category

Pick the kind of car — supercar, sports car, grand tourer, luxury SUV or convertible — and the catalogue for it opens with the cars we can put on your drive. Everything is leased on a term of 3 months or more and quoted as one monthly figure, inclusive of VAT, with one month up front and 1,000 miles a month included, and every car is delivered to the address you give us rather than collected from a counter.

## Which kind of car?

Five categories, and the differences between them are practical rather than cosmetic — width, luggage, seats, and how far you can sensibly drive in a day.

### Supercars

Mid-engined, 550bhp upwards, and the reason most people are on this page.

### Sports cars

Narrow enough to enjoy on a real British road, and the easiest first lease.

### Luxury SUVs

Four or five seats, luggage that actually fits, and no weather it minds.

### Convertibles

Roof down when it counts, and a fully weatherproof car when it does not.

### Grand tourers

Front-engined and long-legged — built for the eighth hour, not the first.

“From” is the lowest monthly figure in that category in the catalogue as at October 2026, inclusive of VAT and quoted on a 3-month minimum term. Partner-sourced cars carry no published figure: they are priced once we have the car, and confirmed with you before anything is agreed.

## How long is the term?

3 months is the shortest agreement we write. Every car is quoted on one month up front and then one a month, with 1,000 miles a month included as standard — go over the allowance and we price the extra mileage into the quote rather than settling it afterwards.

### 3-month

It is a lease and not a hire — the car is delivered to an address you choose, it stays with you for the term, and the whole cost is agreed in writing before anything begins.

### 6-month

It is the first step up from our three-month minimum, and the step where the monthly figure begins to come down, because the cost of holding the car is spread across twice as many months.

### 18-month

It is the term at which a prestige car stops being something you have taken for a while and starts being yours, and it is long enough that the monthly figure comes down against a three or six-month agreement.

### 24-month

Two years is the most common term in prestige leasing because it holds the car through the part of its life that costs least to run and hands it back before the parts that do not.

### 36-month

It is the longest term we write and the one with the lowest monthly figure, because the cost of the car is spread across more months than any shorter agreement.

### Rolling monthly

The first three months are an ordinary agreement — one month up front, then one a month, with 1,000 miles a month included — and what changes after them is that you stop having an end date and start having a notice period.

## Which category should I choose?

Start with the practical constraint rather than the badge. Almost every lease that disappoints is a category error, not a car error.

- More than 150 miles a day, or luggage for two: a grand tourer. It is the only category that treats the motorway legs as pleasant rather than as a tax on the good bit.

- Three or more people, child seats, or a gravel drive in January: a luxury SUV. Nothing else in the catalogue removes every practical objection at once.

- Summer, photographs, a wedding or a coast road: a convertible. Roof up it is a normal car; roof down it is the whole point.

- Your first lease at this level: a sports car. Narrower, more forgiving, and far easier to place on a British lane than something two metres wide.

- The occasion is the point: a supercar. It carries the strictest driver criteria and the highest deposit, both stated on the car’s own page.

## How does the length of the lease change the price?

One monthly figure, on a term of 3 months or more. The cars in our own fleet carry a confirmed price; anything we source for you is quoted once we have the car, because a number we have not been given is not a price.

- 3 months minimum — the shortest agreement we write, and there is nothing shorter. Everything here is a lease, quoted by the month.

- One month up front, then one a month — the initial payment is two monthly figures, not a percentage that moves with the car.

- 1,000 miles a month — included on every car as a minimum. Tell us at the enquiry stage if you need more and it is priced into the quote.

- Delivered to you — we hold no depots, so the car is brought to your address anywhere in mainland Britain.

## What is included whatever the length?

The same things on every lease, and they are stated before the form rather than after it. Included: the car, insurance for the named driver subject to that vehicle’s criteria, a mileage allowance, and delivery and collection quoted with your rate. Not included: fuel or charge, congestion, clean-air and toll charges, any fine incurred during the lease, and miles driven above the allowance.

The refundable deposit and the insurance excess are shown on each car’s own page — see [driver requirements](https://performanceandprestige.co.uk/requirements) for what is checked, and [delivery](https://performanceandprestige.co.uk/delivery) for how the handover works.

## From your enquiry to the keys.

- Step 1 Tell us the car, and roughly how long The car you want — or the kind of car — how long you would like it for, when you would like it from, and the town it should come to. It takes about a minute and commits you to nothing.

- Step 2 We confirm the car, the figure and the start date Someone here checks what is genuinely available and comes back to you — usually the same working day — with the car, the monthly figure, the whole cost including deposit, excess and mileage, and a start date. If it is a car we source, we confirm it with the supplying partner first.

- Step 3 We deliver it — or you collect it Delivered to your home, office or hotel anywhere in mainland Britain, or collected by you if you would rather. We hand the car over in person, walk you round it, and take it back from wherever suits you when the lease ends.

## Common questions

No. You tell us the car or the category, roughly how long and your town; a person checks it and comes back to you with what can actually be confirmed and what the whole lease costs. No deposit is taken online, and nothing is agreed until you have the full figure in writing.

A car marked “in our fleet” is ours. We are the supplier, the monthly figure is our confirmed figure, and availability is a question we can answer directly. A car marked “we can source” is arranged through a vetted partner: it carries no published figure until we have it, and the car is subject to confirmation before anything is agreed. Both are delivered the same way.

Usually, yes. Tell us the exact car and the dates and we will go and find it. It is arranged rather than booked, so it takes longer than a car we already hold, and we will tell you honestly whether the dates are realistic before you plan anything around it.

It depends on the car rather than on a house rule. Vehicles in our own fleet can often be arranged at shorter notice; a sourced car needs a partner to confirm it first. Whichever it is, you get a real date and time rather than an estimate — and if the dates cannot be met we say so rather than keeping you waiting.
