## Why this page exists separately from the catalogue

A great deal of prestige car hire is brokered: the website is a shop window and somebody else owns the car. Both models exist on this site and every card says which is which. This page is the part that is ours — the cars we own, insure, prepare and deliver ourselves. The wider catalogue adds everything else we can source to order, labelled "we can source" wherever it appears, and a car that is not listed at all can still be asked for.

Rates are per day and include VAT. Each car also carries a refundable security deposit and an insurance excess, both shown above, plus a mileage allowance with extra miles charged only beyond it. The figure for a specific car is on that car's own page.

## What "in our fleet" means in practice

- **We are the rental supplier.** There is no third party to ring and no callback to wait for. A person here checks the dates you send against the diary for that exact car.
- **The rate is a confirmed rate**, not a guide, and it is the rate you pay.
- **The car is prepared by us** and handed over in person, anywhere in mainland Britain.
- **If it is already out, we say so** and offer what is genuinely free instead.
- **These cars can be leased as well as rented.** A lease runs longer than a month of hire and is quoted separately, with its own deposit, excess and mileage terms.

## Questions about our fleet

### What does "in our fleet" mean?

It is our car. We own it, we insure it, we maintain it and we deliver it — we are the rental company, not a middleman. The rate shown is our rate and the availability is real.

### What does "we can source" mean?

That car is not one of ours. We arrange it through a vetted partner, so the price shown is a guide and the availability is subject to confirmation. We confirm both with you before anything is agreed.

### Why show cars you do not own?

Because the alternative is pretending we own them. Our own fleet is finite and the range people want is wider, so we list both and label which is which. You can see the full choice and know exactly what you are getting.

### Is a sourced car more expensive?

Not necessarily, but its rate is a guide until the partner confirms it. We come back to you with the confirmed figure before you commit — the price never changes on the day.

### How long does it take to confirm a sourced car?

We come back with a confirmed answer rather than a maybe, and we tell you when to expect it at the point you enquire. If a car cannot be sourced for your dates we say so plainly and offer what actually can be.

### Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes. A refundable security deposit is held for the duration of the hire, separately from the rate. The amount is set per vehicle and shown on that car’s page and on your quote before you commit.

### Is anything taken online?

No. No deposit and no payment is taken through this website. Nothing is charged until a person has confirmed the vehicle, the dates and your driver details with you.

### How is the deposit held, and when do I get it back?

It is held against a card in the hirer’s own name — not a third party’s. It is released once the vehicle is back and checked and any charges are settled; we tell you the release timing in writing when you book.

### What can be deducted from the deposit?

Miles over the included allowance, fuel or charge not replaced, damage up to the excess, and any penalty or congestion charge incurred during your hire plus the admin fee for handling it. Nothing else.

### What does a lease actually cost in total?

Three things: the rate for the period, delivery and collection, and the refundable deposit held against the car. Mileage over the included allowance is the only common extra, and the per-mile figure is on the vehicle page.
