# Delivery — how the car reaches you

> Performance & Prestige has no depots, branches or rental counters, so every hire is delivered to an address you choose and collected from an address you choose at the end. That covers a home, an office, a hotel or an airport, anywhere in mainland Britain. Handover happens standing at the car and takes about fifteen minutes. The delivery and collection charge is quoted with your rate, based on the address and the distance, and appears on the quote before you agree to anything — never after.

## Why there is no branch to collect from

A rental counter exists to serve a car park full of stock. We do not run one, and the cars are worth too much to leave sitting on a forecourt waiting for somebody to walk in. Delivering instead means the handover happens standing at the car, at a time you set, rather than at the end of a queue — and it means we can serve the whole of mainland Britain rather than the towns we happen to hold premises in.

## What happens at handover

About fifteen minutes, standing at the car, in this order:

1. **A delivery window agreed with you**, not quoted blind. Where a car has to travel, the window reflects the journey.
2. **Licence and identity checks** — the named driver's physical licence, the DVLA check code and the documents listed when the hire was confirmed. Any additional driver is checked at the same time.
3. **A joint walk round, photographed** — every panel, every wheel, the glass and the interior, recorded by us and by you.
4. **Fuel or charge and mileage written down**, at handover and again at collection.
5. **Collection works the same way** from an address you choose at the end of the hire. It does not have to be the address it was delivered to.

## Discretion is part of the service

No branding on the driver, no signage at your address and no fuss. If you would rather the handover happened away from your home or office — a hotel, a car park, a side street — say so when you enquire and it is arranged there instead.

### Do you deliver the car to me?

Yes. We have no depots or branches, so every hire is delivered to an address you choose and collected from it afterwards. Home, office, hotel or an address you are travelling to are all fine.

### Where in the UK do you deliver?

Anywhere in mainland Britain. Tell us the postcode when you enquire and we confirm delivery and collection for that address before you commit to anything.

### Is there a delivery charge?

Delivery and collection are quoted with your rate, based on the address and the distance. The figure is on your quote before you agree to anything — it is never added afterwards.

### Can you deliver to an airport?

Yes, where the airport allows a handover. We confirm the exact meeting point with you in advance rather than leaving you to find us at arrivals, and we track the flight so a delay does not cost you the car.

### How much notice do you need?

It depends on the car. Vehicles in our own fleet can often be arranged at short notice; a sourced vehicle takes longer because a partner has to confirm it first. We give you a real date and time, not an estimate.

### Is the delivery discreet?

Yes. No branding on the driver, no signage at your address and no fuss. If you would rather the handover happened away from your home or office, say so and we will arrange it elsewhere.
