## What is a 911 GT3 like on the road?

Loud, firm and completely absorbing. The engine does its best work above 6,000rpm, which is where nothing else on sale sounds like it. Steering weight and feel are exceptional and the brakes are far beyond what any road needs. It is not a relaxing car, and that is precisely why people hire one for a weekend rather than own one.

## Manual or PDK?

Both exist. The six-speed manual is the enthusiast's choice and the seven-speed PDK is quicker and easier in traffic. Hire supply is weighted towards PDK. If you specifically want the manual, tell us at enquiry — it changes the shortlist of partners and it needs more notice, and we would rather say so upfront than disappoint you later.

## What does it cost to hire?

A refundable deposit near £5,000 and a matching excess are typical. Mileage is 12,000 miles a year with about £2.50 a mile beyond. Circuit use is excluded unless separately agreed in advance.

## Can I take a GT3 on a track day?

Not on standard hire terms. Self-drive hire insurance excludes circuit use, so track days have to be arranged specifically with the supplier and priced accordingly. Give us the circuit, the date and the organiser at enquiry and we will find out whether it can be done — we will not simply assume.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can you hire a Porsche 911 GT3 in the UK?

Yes, on a sourced basis. We arrange it through vetted partners rather than supplying it from our own fleet, and we confirm a specific car and your dates before anything is agreed.

### Is the 911 GT3 turbocharged?

No. It uses a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six producing 503bhp and revving to 9,000rpm — one of the very few engines of its kind still on sale.

### Does the GT3 have rear seats?

No. It is a strict two-seater, with a roll cage or a storage shelf where the rear seats sit in other 911s. Luggage goes in the 132-litre front boot.

*Performance & Prestige hires vehicles from its own fleet and, where a vehicle is not one of ours, arranges it through a vetted partner. Cars marked "we can source" are subject to confirmation before anything is agreed. Rates include VAT. Nothing is booked or paid for through this website: a person confirms the car, the full cost and the delivery slot with you first.*

*Pre-launch note: the rates, driver criteria, deposits, excesses and mileage allowances quoted here are read from Performance & Prestige's own catalogue data, which is still being confirmed with the owner and the insurer. Read them as the shape of the figures rather than as a quotation. What binds is your written quote and your hire agreement.*
