Performance & Prestige has no depot, branch or rental counter in Cardiff and holds no premises there. Every hire is delivered to an address you choose and collected from it afterwards.

Cardiff sits close enough to the Beacons and the valleys that two days here covers more good road than a week does in most cities. We deliver into the city and the Bay, out to Lisvane, Radyr, Llandaff, Penarth and Cowbridge, and across the Vale of Glamorgan, then collect from wherever you end up. Wales runs a default twenty limit on most built-up roads, which changes the feel of a city drive more than visitors expect it to. We hold no premises in Cardiff, so there is nothing to collect, nothing to sign at a hatch and no journey to make before the hire begins.

Typical delivery: Stadium event days are the single biggest factor here, because the closures around the centre go in early and cover a wide area rather than a street or two. Beyond that it is the usual pair: whether your street sits in a controlled zone, and how the Bay's barriers and one-way approaches behave. Penarth, Cowbridge and Lisvane are driveway handovers and far simpler. We come back to you with a window, agreed in conversation, before you commit to anything.

On a Principality Stadium event day the city-centre closures are extensive, go in well before kick-off and take in exactly the streets you would otherwise use, so we either hand over long ahead of them or move out to Penarth, Llandaff or Cardiff Gate. Send the date and we will say which. On an ordinary day the Bay is the harder half: the blocks there have gated undercrofts with height barriers, and the roads around them are one-way with little legal stopping. Pontcanna and Cathedral Road are terraced and permit-controlled, so we agree a bay and an hour in advance.
